Mission Statement
The New Vision International Filmfestival is an officially registered ANBI organization and offers a new perspective within the existing international film industry. NVIFF’s main initiative is to increase diversity in the film industry by collaborating with diverse international film talent. NVIFF also stimulates the development of new film talent through the organization of workshops and panel discussions. The initiators of NVIFF, Jan-Willem Breure and William Kwame Osei Bonsu, therefore decided that there should be a film festival that is not only more diverse, and shows both Western and non-Western films on the basis of equality, but also that colored makers themselves have a stage. and gives them an opportunity to profile themselves. Based on this new vision, which is more inclusive and open to diverse cultures, the New Vision International Film Festival (NVIFF) Foundation was established in 2019 and the NVIFF organized for the first time.
